The Tamraloo Tutoring Team offers two focused, evidence-based programs. We don’t try to do everything — we do these two things exceptionally well.
Literacy Intervention & Enrichment (LIE)
The LIE program is designed for students who have fallen behind a grade level or more. It begins with a 45–60 minute diagnostic assessment ($100, applied toward first month’s tuition) to build a personalized curriculum. After the assessment, you’ll receive results and specialist recommendations by email within about one business week. Instruction is delivered by experienced reading specialists using a structured literacy method developed by Dr. MaryEllen Vogt, PhD — Distinguished Professor Emerita at CSU Long Beach.

The MIE program is designed for students who have fallen behind a grade level or more in mathematics. It begins with a 60-minute assessment with an instructor ($100, applied toward first month’s tuition) to design a personalized curriculum for your student. After the assessment, you’ll receive results and recommendations by email within about one business week. Instruction is provided by credentialed specialists and experienced math instructors.
