FOR THIS WEEK'S TEST
Study Coach Drop-In
One-time paid sessions to prep for finals, work through a homework packet, or finally get a concept that hasn't clicked. No commitment needed.
WHEN TO REACH OUT
If math homework
has become a nightly battle.
Math builds on itself, so gaps in early skills make every later year harder. If any of these sound familiar, an assessment will tell you exactly which gaps need filling and how to fill them.
"I'm Bad at Math"
Your child has started saying they're not a "math person" or that they hate math. Confidence is collapsing faster than skills.
Fundamentals Missing
Multiplication tables aren't automatic, fractions cause meltdowns, or basic operations slow your child down on harder problems.
Slipping Grades
Math grade has dropped from where it used to be, or progress reports flag a concern. The gap will get harder to close as the year continues.
Test Anxiety
Your child knows the material at home but freezes on tests. Confidence and pacing strategies are as important as the math itself.
THE PROGRAM
Math Intervention
& Enrichment (MIE)
Every student starts with a one-on-one assessment with an instructor. We figure out exactly where the gaps are, what's solid, and what to work on first. From there, weekly sessions build skills systematically.
Weekly One-on-One Math Tutoring
Each student begins with a 60-minute diagnostic with an instructor that identifies specific math needs. Within about a business week, you'll receive a written summary by email with concrete recommendations. From there, weekly one-on-one tutoring builds the foundational and grade-level skills your student needs.

WHY IT WORKS
Every grade level.
Every concept.
Our tutors have experience across every grade level and topic. Whether your student is mastering multiplication for the first time or working through Calculus BC, the approach is the same: figure out what they actually need, teach to that, and build confidence alongside skill.
● Elementary math (grades 1–5). Number sense, multiplication tables, fractions, decimals, word problems, and the foundations everything else builds on.
● Middle school math. Pre-algebra, integers, ratios, proportions, percentages, and the conceptual leap from arithmetic to algebra.
● High school math. Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus AB/BC.
● College math. College algebra, calculus, linear algebra, statistics — for students at Sierra College, community colleges, and universities.
● Physics. Conceptual and AP Physics for high school students struggling with the math behind the science.
Test prep. SAT Math, ACT Math, and end-of-year final exam preparation.

Tony Reyes
12 YEARS MATHNASIUM ROSEVILLE · GRADES 1 THROUGH COLLEGE · PHYSICS
Tony grew up in California. Late in high school, a great teacher mentored him and sparked a deeper appreciation for math. Under his mentor's guidance, Tony helped create a math tutoring business and built his skills as both a mathematician and a teacher.
Tony served as the Assistant Director of tutoring for Mathnasium Roseville for 12 years and has experience working with students from 1st grade through college math. He also tutors physics. When he's not working on math, he enjoys music, playing guitar, and spending time with his dog, friends, and family.
HOW IT WORKS
From assessment
to confident student.
For ongoing math intervention or enrichment, every student starts with a comprehensive diagnostic. For drop-in study coaching, you can book directly without an assessment.
STEP 1
Schedule Your Assessment
Call (916) 664-2516 or use the form to schedule a 60-minute diagnostic. The fee is $100, applied to your first month of tuition if you enroll.
STEP 3
If MIE is the right fit, weekly 45-minute sessions begin with a tutor matched to your student's grade level and needs. Month-to-month, no long-term contract.
STEP 2
Receive Recommendations
Within about one business week, you'll receive a written summary of your student's math profile by email, with specific recommendations for next steps.
STEP 4
Ongoing communication with parents about wins, challenges, and recommendations to support math learning at home. Reassessment as your student progresses.
BEYOND MATH
Math isn't the only place students need support.
If reading is also a struggle — or if your student would benefit from intervention in both subjects — Tamraloo offers literacy intervention alongside our math program.
For students performing 1+ grade levels behind in reading. Orton-Gillingham methodology, weekly sessions with reading specialists, $315/month.
