What is the Tamraloo Work-Trade Program?
The Work-Trade Program allows eligible high school students to earn tuition credit in exchange for supervised, age-appropriate work at the studio. It is designed to support students preparing for musicals, auditions, and advanced training.
How does the work-trade exchange work?
Students earn one month of group dance class by completing 4 hours of approved work within the same calendar month. Tuition credit is applied once hours are completed and logged.
Is this a paid job?
No. This is an educational work-trade program, not employment. Students receive tuition credit rather than wages.
Is this program guaranteed every month?
No. Work-trade placements are approved monthly and based on studio needs, student reliability, and availability. Enrollment is limited.
What types of work will students do?
Duties may include:
-
Front desk hospitality (no payments)
-
Room resets and organization
-
Costume, prop, or music prep
-
Data Entry
-
Light cleaning and administrative prep
All tasks are non-hazardous and completed under direct staff supervision.
What if my student does not complete their hours?
If work hours are not completed by the end of the month, tuition will be charged at the standard rate.
Can work-trade be used for private lessons?
In some cases, yes. Private lesson work-trade opportunities follow a separate agreement and require additional hours due to higher lesson value.
