1. TEACHING SCHEDULE
- The Tamraloo Studios teaching schedule is based upon 3 semesters throughout the year (aligned with the WPUSD school semesters).
2024 Semesters:
Spring: Jan 8 - May 18
Summer: May 27 - Aug 17
Fall: Aug 19 - Dec 21
- Specific teaching dates by semester can be seen at: https://www.tamraloo.com/lesson-calendar.
- Lessons are normally taught on the same day and time each week, but the number of lessons in each month varies based upon the day a student attends lessons. The total number of weekly lessons in a semester is the same, regardless of which day of the week lessons are held.

2. PAYMENT DETAILS / DUE DATES
-Tuition is collected by automated debit, credit card or ACH payments and will be completed the 8 days before the first of the next month. FAILURE TO ATTEND CLASS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A WITHDRAWAL AND DOES NOT ENTITLE THE PARTICIPANT TO A REFUND OF MISSED CLASSES. If Tamraloo is mandated to close our physical location due to any government health order, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue.
- If payment is late, there will be a $10 late fee. If tuition is not paid by the student’s second lesson of the month, student will be dropped from the schedule. There will be a $12 fee if your payment is returned for insufficient funds.
- Payments are the same each month regardless of the number of lesson days (unless you are starting part-way through a month). Long months do not cost more, short months do not cost less. The semester fee is broken down by month so it is the same each month.
- We distribute books as needed and will bill you accordingly on the next month’s invoice. Detailed billing information can be seen by clicking on the link within each invoice email. INITIAL __________

3. FORMS OF PAYMENT
- All families will be on Autopay (via Credit Card, US Bank Route number) or Charter Funds.
- To sign up for autopay, stop in for assistance during office hours, OR:
- Log into your Parent Portal and choose “Accounts & Invoices”
- Click “Manage Payment Methods”
- After submitting your Payment info, check “Automatically Pay Emailed Invoices” and click “Add”
-To Utilize Charter Funds, please reach out to your charter for their best practices to utilize funds.

4.Staying Updated with Studio Communications: Your Guide to Staying Informed
At Tamraloo, we prioritize clear communication to ensure that all students, parents, and guardians are well-informed about studio events, schedule changes, and important updates. To keep everyone on the same page, we kindly ask that you regularly check and stay updated through the following channels:

Social Media: Follow us on Facebook(/TamralooStudios) and Instagram (@TamralooOfficial) for the latest news, photos, and announcements. These platforms are great for quick updates and reminders.

Mailchimp: Make sure you’re subscribed to our email list through Mailchimp via our website. We send weekly newsletters packed with important information, event details, and any changes you need to know about.

Parent Portal: Our Parent Portal is the most comprehensive source for studio schedules, announcements, billing information, and more. Please login regularly to stay informed about your child's classes and any changes that may occur.
By staying engaged through these channels, you will always be in the loop with our studio’s activities and updates. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain effective communication and a smoothly running program!
5. MAKE-UPS
- There will be times throughout the year when make-up lessons will be necessary. Students are provided up to two make-ups/reschedules per semester for individual lessons.
-Make-ups, both rescheduled by student or teacher, do not roll over to the new semester and must be used before the end of the semester they were acquired in (see semester calendar in Section 1 “Teaching Schedule”)
- We require a 24-hour notice to reschedule a make-up lesson.
- If we are closed due to an unforeseeable event (fire, power outage) we will not issue makeups.
- Group classes can be made up by any other class that possesses the same age range of students (consult your Tamraloo group class schedule for details)
- If your teacher cancels a lesson, you will receive a make-up session. INITIAL __________
6. CANCELLATIONS
- If you would like to cancel lessons, we require a 30-day cancellation notice. Please email or text support@tamraloo.com or 916.664.2516 with your cancellation notice. The final invoice will be adjusted for 30 days from the notification.
7. MAY SHOWCASE
- May Showcase is mandatory for students under 18 who have been taking lessons for at least 6 months prior to May (unless you have made out-of-town plans or have other extenuating circumstances).
8. PHOTO AND SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE AUTHORIZATION
- We love to showcase the achievements and activities of our students on our social media platforms. To enhance our communication and celebrate the accomplishments of our students, we seek your consent to post pictures featuring your student on our official social media accounts. These images include pictures taken during lessons or events organized by Tamraloo Studios, or if your student becomes Student of the Month. If you grant us permission to share these images, please indicate your consent by providing your initials in the space provided. INITIAL __________
9. WALKING HOME
- No child will be allowed to walk home without prior consent from a parent or guardian. If you feel your child is mature enough to cope with this responsibility, please complete the Walk Home Alone waiver and return. [Access at https://forms.gle/FnHsjGBDZebZZXY97.]
