Whether you are looking for vocal coaching, private instrumental instruction, or group lessons, Tamraloo Studios has something for everyone. Proudly serving Lincoln and beyond, Tamraloo Studios is owned and operated by Tamra Rogers, Elly Award Winning Actress, professional vocalist and accompanist, and music instructor for over 30 years. Tamraloo Studios offers private and group music lessons, a wide variety of dance and acting classes, math and literacy programs, and tutoring. Mentoring young people and creating job opportunities in the community is extremely important to Tamie, so she has created an internship with each of her student teachers, training them, having them shadow her, and then sitting in with them as they learn the ins and outs of professional music teaching. Multiple performance opportunities are offered throughout the year, including our exciting Spring Showcase. We have two Lincoln locations to serve you – Twelve Bridges and Lincoln Professional Center. We are a vendor for multiple charter schools.
Tamra Rogers, BA, MTNA, CAMTA
Tamra Rogers was born and raised in the Bay Area, then spent 18 years in the beautiful Pacific Northwest before coming back “home” to California. Tamra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from William Jessup University. She has taught piano and voice for over 30 years, and currently owns and serves as Artistic Director for Tamraloo Studios, Placer County's largest performing arts studio.
An accomplished collaborative pianist, choral conductor, vocal coach and music director, Miss Tamie has accompanied multiple church, community, and university choirs, as well as conducted children’s and adult choruses in both the Pacific Northwest and Northern California and coached vocalists all over the area. She most recently lent her talents onstage as Judy Bernley in RCT's production of 9 to 5, as Musical Director offstage for William Jessup's production of The Scarlet Pimpernel, and is currently serving as vocal director for LHS's production of Legally Blonde. Tamra is a multiple SARTA Elly award winner, for both her musical direction and performance roles, and she carols professionally as a Soprano in the Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers.
Tamie is passionate about community service and serves as a Board Member for the Downtown Lincoln Association, and member of Nawbo, Sorpotomists of Lincoln, Lincoln Fourth of July Committee, and more. She has led the last two reigning Miss Sac Outstanding Teens to victory as a vocal coach and her Tamraloo students and teachers lend their talents throughout Placer County and beyond. As head of Tamraloo Studios, Tamie trains, mentors, and coordinates studio schedules for all her teachers, as well as maintains a current roster of over 80 personal and group students.
Her greatest blessings in life are her four incredible children and superhero husband.
